Privacy
This is written to be read rather than to be defensible. If anything here is unclear, email info@fasterchefapp.com and we'll fix the wording.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store three things:
- Your email address.
- The date you joined.
- Which link brought you here, if the link said so — for example
?ref=tiktok. This tells us which videos are worth making. It is not tied to anything about you.
We do not store your IP address, we do not set cookies, and there is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, and no third-party code of any kind on this website. Your address is used for exactly one thing: telling you when FasterChef is ready. To be removed, email us and it's done the same day.
The app
When FasterChef launches, the app will store:
- Your account. Created through Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. If you use Apple's private relay address, that relay address is all we ever see.
- Recipes you import. The link you shared and the recipe we extracted from it.
- Your plans and shopping lists.
- Your preferences. Diets, allergens, household size — only if you enter them.
What we never do
- We never ask for your Instagram or TikTok password, and we never connect to your accounts. The app only reads public posts that you explicitly share into it.
- We never sell your data. There is no advertising business here to sell it to.
- We never share it with anyone beyond the services listed below.
Services we rely on
Running the product means a few companies necessarily handle some data:
- DigitalOcean — hosting and databases, in the EU.
- Apple — sign-in and subscriptions.
- Google — sign-in, if you choose that button.
- An AI provider — reads a recipe caption to turn it into structured text. It receives the caption, never anything about you.
- An email provider — sends you the messages you asked for.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The app has an export button and a delete-account button that really deletes — it removes your recipes, plans, lists, and account together, and it cannot be undone.

Children
FasterChef is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll email anyone on the waitlist or holding an account before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
